As prophets of doom predict the collapse of most dot-com businesses a Silicon Valley businessman is ready to cash in.
California entrepreneur Nicholas Hall has launched a service to help businesspeople recover from their e-failures.
And, of course, it’s on the Web.
“Our purpose is to take the stigma out of failing and help people recover quickly from failure and get back in action,” says Hall.
In just a few weeks, his Web site has become a thriving community.
Startupfailures.com reports that daily thousands are looking at the site for help and advice on starting up their next online business.
Hall says only six out of every 1000 business plans get funded and 40% of businesses fail within five years.
