New Zealand companies using DHL Worldwide express are now promised 'total control' over their shipment management.

New Zealand companies using DHL Worldwide express are now promised "total control" over their shipment management.

DHL Connect allows clients to easily make domestic and international shipping arrangements from their desktop anywhere in the world.

Free to users, it provides a full set of automated shipment procedures in a simple “point and click” environment.

DHL Connect is a Windows Web-based software solution designed for customers who send multiple shipments.

Via a secure link to DHL's server, DHL Connect allows customers to automatically prepare documentation, track and trace, book pickups and produce reports, all at the push of a button.

DHL says this gives customers quicker shipment preparation and more convenient shipment management.

For those who do not have access to the Web, DHL also has e-Track- a free email-based DHL tracking service allowing customers to track DHL shipments via their own email 24 hours-a-day.

It gives clients full track and trace information on their shipments within seconds of an email enquiry being made.

DHL New Zealand general manager Harlis Malkic says its new e-commerce services offers customer choice.

"At the touch of a keyboard, they provide the services and information our customers need to efficiently manage their international and domestic express shipments," he says.
