A year-old recruiting firm says its growth has been hampered by large employers being tied down by preferred-supplier agreements, but claims not to have lost any clients.

Albany-based IT Maniacs owners Sarah Lee and Laurel Gillan say they are nevertheless talking to a Wellington-based recruitment agency about partnering and plan to franchise the IT Maniacs concept in time.
