Logical Networks has cut six staff out of 130.

Departures include the marketing manager for Australia and New Zealand, David Tse, who says his departure was voluntary but the alternative was having his working hours drastically reduced.

Managing director Murray Jurgeleit describes the reundancies as part of a “reshaping”.

Logical sees the need to cultivate experts in specific areas, such as security, IP applications and wireless.

“Because most of what we do is for the top 100 enterprises, the need for a generalised marketing division is not great,” he says. Tse will not be replaced but there will still be two staff in marketing, Jurgeleit says.

The restructuring was local and not directed by the company’s UK HQ.
