Dear What Am I Worth,

I am a network security engineer with five years' IT experience and two years of security and networking experience. I have four Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP), two CheckPoint Firewall-1 certifications (CCSA and CCSE) and four Unix certifications (Sun, HP and SGI).

Well secured

Elan IT replies: You obviously have some excellent technical skills and security is an area that is still quite strong and, I believe, yet to grow to its full extent as companies come to terms with how vulnerable they can be to attack or invasion.

You can probably expect a salary of around $80,000 dependent on the environments in which you gained your technical experience, and your ability to communicate with both internal and external customers.
