Back-up operator and customer engineer

I've been doing desktop support for a financial company in Cape Town. I have training and qualifications relating to this field of work, having completed the A+ and N+ courses.

Dear What Am I Worth,

I am a South African in New Zealand on a visitor’s visa, looking for a offer of employment, after which I’ll apply for residency. Under current immigration policy I’ll qualify for the work visa if I obtain a written offer of employment.

I’m a back-up operator and customer engineer, having seven years' IT and computer support experience as well as some experience in the printer maintenance field. I’ve been doing desktop support for a financial company in Cape Town. I have training and qualifications relating to this field of work, having completed the A+ and N+ courses.

Also I have email as confirmation from Itanz that many of my skills are on the current shortage list.

Alliance IT Recruitment replies: $40,000. There is very little call for operators in the New Zealand market. Focus on your engineering skills. In particular networking skills if you have them.
