Dear What Am I Worth,

I’m a 32-year-old male who two years ago earned a National Diploma in Business Computing with above average, but not great, results. I intended to gain a graduate programmer position but have had no luck. Should I continue looking for an IT position given the time since I received my NDBC?

Alliance IT Recruitment replies: Graduate positions typically range from $35,000 to $40,000. I recently had 120+ applicants for one role. To get serious consideration you will need more than an NDBC with average marks.
