Liquor retailer Glengarry Hancocks is now running all its back office functions on Exo-net's en-prise platform.

The first phase of the replacement of Glengarry's current enterprise resource planning (ERP) system was completed last month.

Exo-net technical director Mark Loveys says this is his software company's most ambitious ever project.

Glengarry started its search for a new ERP platform three years ago and expected installation to take a year, but it has so far taken three months.

The platform will help Glengarry Hancocks service the liquor industry through its outlets and national marketing and distribution operations.

This includes processing 2000 transactions a day, keeping track of a stock of 7,000 product lines and dealing with turnover close to $100 million a year.
