The Herald online has drawn together a range of partners to turn its online travel section into an interactive e-commerce service.

Wilson and Horton Interactive, which runs the NZ Herald Travel Web site has teamed up with Internet travel company travel.co.nz to offer an online booking and payment service for flights.

Users can also buy travel insurance through Norwich Union, and find cheapest available fares using the Sabre reservation system.

Other features include travel articles, access to AA Guides NZ, a currency converter, and forums for New Zealand travellers to share tips and advice.
