A representative of IT Investment Networks is pitching its forum next month as an event "for those who actually want to do something about our knowledge economy."

"For those who have been watching the media over the past week, you may have been forgiven for believing the sky is about to fall on our heads and the answer lies with the politicians," said IT Investment Network marketing and events co-ordinator Lisa Harris, describing her company's event as one "for the rest of us."

The theme of the forum, to be held November 10 at the Sheraton Auckland from 2pm to 11pm, is 'The Future of the Internet'. Topics include 'New Commercial Models on the Internet', 'The Value Exchange Network - How to Assess the Value of Technology Propositions', "'Business-to-Business - Are Exchanges / Marketplaces the Future of Business-to Business Trading? and 'How things can go wrong in Technology Companies'.

Further details and registration for the Forum are on the IT Investment Network Website
