Hewlett-Packard is to stage its one-day eLearning 2000 conference in Auckland next week.
The October 31 event at the Sheraton Hotel includes speakers from HP and Australiasian IT and educational organisations.
- Debbie Frances, chief executive of Palmerston North's Universal College of Learning, is speaking on "The Way of Learning in the New Millennium".
- Knowledge management guru Dr Karl-Erik Sveiby of Sydney's Macquarie University will talk about e-learning as a corporate strategy.
- Hewlett-Packard Asia-Pacific human resources director Alan Colvin will look at the returns on investment in intelligence.
- HP business manager Andrew Silvers will look at implementing e-learning.
