Dear What Am I Worth,

I have been in the IT and telecomms industries for more than 20 years and am now a solution manager developing complex comunications solutions tailored for customers. This includes the products and services of our own and third-party organisations. Communications includes all IT WAN solutions, innovative financial models, process redesign and fresh thinking for solutions.

My employer is involved in voice, data, internet, e-solutions network presales/business support, and network design and evaluation. I am also involved in technical sales and account management. I advise customers on their most appropriate solutions.

I prepare and present sales proposals to customers as part of the sales team. I prepare tender responses and/or non-standard contracts. I provide technical advice on company products and services and have responsibility within the firm as a "subject matter expert", also advising the company on new products and packaging of existing products.

I have 12 years experience in the industry and my relevent tertiary qualifications are CCNA/CCDA, CCDP level.

De Winter International replies: Depending on sales and client exposure, you could expect a package in the $90,000 to $110,000, range, some of which would be at risk.
