Dear What Am I Worth,

I am a senior IT manager with 10 years of experience. I am also an ERP project manager (with Oracle applications), and have done intranet development, data warehouse and EIS implementations.

I have a 1997-vintage MBA in information systems and a 10-year-old BSc in industrial and management engineering. My work-related skills include a wide knowledge of IT management working for a big telephone company in Israel. I have a working visa for New Zealand.

Hadas

De Winter International replies: Roles at this level often involve both internal and external sales work. As a result you need to have a blue-chip work history with companies that would be recognised by New Zealand IT professionals.

Your written and oral communication skills also need to be outstanding. If you have these qualities, a $90,000-plus package is feasible. However, without them you would be lucky to find work. There is very little middle ground.
