Dear What Am I Worth,

I have eight years' experience in system assembly, OS install, system upgrades and conflict troubleshooting. I have also helped in LAN setup for up to 60 systems on numerous occasions.

I am a registered electrician and have enrolled in a Microsoft certified system engineer 2000 course starting in the new year. I am based in Christchurch and would like to find a job as a system engineer, network engineer or similar.

De Winter International replies: Keep your eyes open for an entry-level network engineers position. Your hardware experience will stand you in good stead; $35,000 to $40,000.
