3Com in Marlboro, Massachusetts, said it will cut another 1,000 jobs by outsourcing all of its manufacturing operations. The networking vendor also plans to shift development of its low-end products to a facility in Taiwan that's due to open in late November. The new cutbacks follow a round of layoffs that 3Com announced in June.
