If you export technology products to the US, or plan to, attending the second annual ANZA Technology Network Showcase Conference in Silicon Valley in November should be a sound investment.
Last year's inaugural conference, held in San Francisco, was successful, according to attendees - comments recorded on Anza's website include "I thought it was a great event, well attended and superbly run," from Macquarie Bank executive director Dan Phillips and "the most valuable marketing event we have attended - because of its size, it allowed a company like us to get significant purchase with the Silicon Valley technology set," from Adrian Floate of Anthem Software.
ANZA's New Zealand branch is holding briefing information sessions in Christchurch tomorrow, Wellington on Thursday and Auckland on Friday.
At the briefing sessions, prospective players and entrants to the US market will be able to ask questions and listen to experts with experience in the New Zealand and US high tech markets, hear why you need a 30 second 'elevator pitch' and polish their presentation to the US market.
New Zealand Trade and Enterprise may be able to offer funding for companies considering attending the conference - for further information, contact Reece Bailey at NZTE.
