Computerworld understands that Telecom's Tunnelled Layer 2 (L2TP) UBS will be relaunched on Monday. A formal statement is expected at tomorrow's first quarter results announcements.
Bruce Parkes, Telecom's general manager of industry and government relations, says the earnings announcement will include an update for UBS.
Telecom's UBS was meant to be operative end of September, but ran into technical issues and was postponed without a clear resolution date. In the meantime, Telecom proposed a Layer 3 exact clone of its retail Jetstream to ISPs, called Interim or I-UBS.
More details on the UBS relaunch will be available tomorrow.
