Microsoft has started accepting "early-bird" registrations for Tech Ed 2005, the developer conference to be held at Auckland's Sky City Convention Centre in late August. Sean McBreen, the director of Microsoft NZ's developer and platform group, says the US event sold out nine weeks before the doors opened and he's "certainly aiming" to sell out the 2,000 seats in New Zealand.
Tech-Ed registration currently costs $1,499, but will rise to $1,799 once early-bird registration finishes on June 30.
Session details are not yet available, but McBreen says the core content tracks have been set. They are security; server and management infrastructure; messaging and collaboration; data; developer tools; smart client and mobile; business applications and business intelligence; and architecture.
