Richard Collins has left Interwoven following the content management vendor's axing of the Australia–New Zealand managing director position.
Interwoven Australia marketing director Andrew Antal says the move was made following a review of Interwoven's Australian operation by James Murray, the company's Asia—Pacific operations vice president, which resulted in a decision to discontinue the MD role and increase the number of salespeople.
The sales staff will now report directly to Interwoven's Asia–Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
Collins left Interwoven last month, a little over a year after taking up the Interwoven ANZ MD role. Collins was managing director of Computer Associates in New Zealand before he moved to Australia to take up a senior storage-based role for CA, and then leaving to join Interwoven.
