New editorial team at Computerworld

IDG Communications has appointed Paul Brislen as editor of Computerworld.

Brislen is a seven-year veteran of the IT industry, having previously covered Y2K, the knowledge economy and telecommunications. Brislen is a past winner of the Telecommunications Users Association Journalist of the Year award, as well as a Qantas Award winner for his feature writing.

IDG has also appointed David Watson to the role of deputy editor.

Watson has been with Computerworld for four years and was previously responsible for the Management section and Careers section. He has also reported on ERP, CRM and other business software.
