Wireless network provider Woosh laid off ten staff last week, with CEO Bob Smith saying it was a natural part of an organisation’s life cycle.
“It’s just the usual ongoing assessment of where we’re at and it’s lead to a number of positions across the board being made redundant.”
Amongst those leaving is the general manager of sales and marketing, Sandra Geange.
Geange has been with Woosh for two-and-a-half years now and Smith felt it was time for “a new face” in her role. Amongst her achievements at Woosh, Geange says she put in place a capable sales and marketing team and developed the current range of broadband and voice plans which she says are very successful.
