Mystery surrounds the identity of an Australian entity seeking to buy New Zealand ICT companies.
An advertisement in the National Business Review, October 27, headed “IT acquisitions wanted” targets owners or stakeholders of businesses “in the IT sector with maintainable earnings of [above] $3 million”.
It seeks sale or partnership arrangements with company owners who are “interested in remaining involved” in their business. The ad was placed by Kennedy Needham, a specialist in acquisitions, asset sales, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
The ad states “we represent an Australian publicly-listed company”. Kennedy Needham didn't return phone calls by Computerworld seeking further information.
