TVNZ technology head Neil Andrew is among those leaving the state broadcaster in the wake of recent restructuring.
Andrew has been with TVNZ for nine years and held several technology-related roles in that time. He says his position — head of resources and technology — has been split in two under the restructuring. “I was heading two separate roles and it was decided they should be separated,” he says. His former role will be replaced by a general manager of technology and a head of broadcasting services. The latter will be an executive position, while the technology general manager will report to the chief financial officer.
Andrew leaves TVNZ at the end of March and, as for future plans, he says he’s “looking at what’s out there”.
