Hi-Tech Awards judges announced

Gary Hamel will join Michael Dell and Cisco VP as leading judges

Author and management expert Gary Hamel will join Michael Dell and Cisco Systems senior vice-president Howard Charney as the leading international judges for the 2011 NZ Hiā€“Tech Awards.

The other judges are Silicon Valley-based expatriate New Zealand IT entrepreneur Andy Lark, SysDoc founder and director Katherine Corich, former IBM New Zealand head Nick Lambert, IDG Ventures managing director Patrick Kenealy, former Computerworld US editor Don Tennant, US-basaed expatriate New Zealand design expert Richard Mander, NZ Trade and Enterprise Eurpean Beachhead Advisory Board chairman Richard Keyse and IDC enterprise infrastructure, consumer, network, telecom and sustainability research groups vice-president Vernon Turner.

The awards will be held in Wellington on May 6. The Awards have been held since 1993 and honour achievement in technology across ICT, electronics, software, bio-technology, creativem, telecommunications and digital media.
