CA reports record NZ result

New products drive growth

The New Zealand unit of CA has announced it boosted local revenue by 12% for the year ended 31 March 2007 and doubled profit.

CA Pacific (NZ) Ltd logged revenue of $12.7 million for the year and profit of $1.7 million, up from $872,000 in the previous year.

CA has brought several new technologies to market over the past year, mostly as a resurlt of acquisitions. These include: CA Wily, a technology which measures web-based transaction performance; CA Clarity, for IT governance and project and portfolio management; CA XOSoft, for data recovery among other solutions.

Parent company CA reported revenues of US$3.94 billion, up from US$3.77 billion in 2006, for the year and profit of US$121 million, down from US$160 million.
