InternetNZ's Jordan Carter resigns

Policy director leaves to campaign in this year's election

InternetNZ policy director Jordan Carter has resigned, to concentrate on his political career.

He will stand in this year’s election, on the Labour Party list, at number 40.

Carter has been a staffer at InternetNZ since 2003 and has held roles including deputy executive director.

In a statement announcing Carter’s resignation, InternetNZ chief executive Vikram Kumar says: “During his time with InternetNZ, he has made a huge contribution to the organisation. Jordan has been a driving force of InternetNZ’s independent and high quality policy advice.

“We wish him the very best.”

Carter's last day with InternetNZ is May 19.
