Marketing software maker Touchpoint has reorganised its structure, with co-founder Frank van der Velden taking up the role of chief executive and fellow co-founder Steve Shearman becoming chief technology officer. Previously, Shearman was the company's managing director. He has shifted to the CTO role following a boost in Touchpoint's investment in product development for overseas markets, according to Touchpoint.
The overseas focus is also reflected in the change in title of former group account director Peter Hunter, who has been appointed general manager, international. Touchpoint was founded in 2001 by van der Velden and Shearman, who developed early New Zealand website provider WebMasters in the 1990s before selling it to Advantage Group.
