Web access contracts awarded

Watchdog, Telecom and SurfControl score contracts

The Ministry of Education has awarded three tenders relating to internet access. Watchdog, an ISP which has an existing relationship with the ministry, has been awarded a contract worth between $1.25 and $1.5 million to provide managed internet and related services. Telecom has also scored a contract to provide such services, valued at $1.5-$1.75 million, and SurfControl has been awarded a contract worth between $150,000 and $175,000 to provide filtering software.
