Bruce Moorhead has resigned to take up a planning and business management role at the Nelson-Marlborough DHB

Education ministry CIO Bruce Moorhead has resigned to take up a planning and business management role at the Nelson-Marlborough District Health Board.

Moorhead has been living in Nelson and commuting to work in Wellington for the past three years and says the move is “a lifestyle change so I can be closer to my family”.

He has been CIO at the ministry for five years in total. The ministry is in the process of recruiting a new CIO.
