Auckland software firm in voluntary administration

Orderware opts for move, despite making profit in 2010 year

Auckland software developer Orderware Solutions has gone into voluntary administration.

The company, which was formed in 2001, develops software and services, as well as supporting other companies delivering distributed applications for order management and data integration to their commercial customers.

Companies Office returns show that Orderware showed a small profit of $128,000 in the financial year to June 30, 2010, but on 10 percent reduced revenue of $3.77 million.

Craig Sanson of PwC has been appointed the administrator.
