Finzsoft has announced an extension of its parternship with Indian IT services provider HCL, following the signing of the enhanced deal at a ceremony in Delhi yesterday. Prime Minister John Key, who is in India heading a trade delegation, was present at the signing. The extended contract provides for Finzsoft to offer further software products and services to India's banking and finance sector through the partnership with HCL, which was first established last year. In a statement from the companies announcing the signing, Finzoft director Andrew Holliday says: “The partnership combines the best elements from HCL and Finzsoft to offer a proactive, innovative and solution based transformational offering that is proven, secure, and scalable.
“Finzsoft will lead these core and vertical solutions with HCL providing systems integration, business process outsourcing and transformational services." HCl senior vice president Rajiv Sodhi says in the statement: “The offshore model of yesteryear has evolved into something far more collaborative. This pioneering agreement reflects the writing on the wall when it comes to conducting business in Asia from here on in." Finzsoft's flagship product is the Sovereign asset finance, funds management and core banking suite.
