Labour Dept chooses SAS

Data warehouse and business intelligence suite to give staff access to comprehensive data source

The Labour Department has chosen SAS software to implement a data warehouse and business intelligence suite, which will “give staff access to a comprehensive data source from which information can be drawn for reporting and forward planning,” says project manager Tim Boyd-Wilson.

“The project will provide a single environment and toolset from which analysts and operational staff can source and use data.”

It will draw data from a variety of operational systems, including SQL databases, he says.
