MED releases Copyright Act submissions

RIANZ, Google and others submit views on legislation

The Ministry of Economic Development has posted submissions on the Copyright (Infringing File Sharing) Amendment Act discussion document on its website.

Earlier this month, specialist ICT lawyer Rick Shera noted that at that point in time, the submissions hadn’t appeared on the site.

Submitters include Google, the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand, Telecom, Orcon, Green MP Gareth Hughes, and the Telecommunications Carriers Forum.
