A new award recognising the role of software developers, upon whose work so much ICT innovation rests, has been included in this year’s Computerworld awards.
Software developer of the year is open to individuals whose primary role in an organisation is to create software. This could be for a company, government department, ICT consultancy or start-up.
In addition, the popular ICT manager of the year category has returned. This award recognises the impact that an individual’s leadership skills and innovation have on business success.
Also open for entries is ICT Project of the Year, which is open to individuals or teams in public or private sector organisations and is intended to recognise dynamic, innovative ICT projects.
The Awards will be presented at the ITEX business technology show on November 23 at SkyCity in Auckland. The presentation will be part of Computerworld’s 25th birthday celebrations.
