Firefox cracks 30% share in ANZ

Oceania registers the highest Firefox usage of any continent

A European analyst company says Oceania, comprised largely of Australia and New Zealand, has the highest level of usagee of the Firefox web browser of any continent tracked.

Xiti says Firefox has 31.2% market share while Asia, which recorded the lowest levels of use, registered 17.2%, according to a report on Ars Technica.

Among other findings, Finland, Poland and Slovenia had the highest levels of use, at between 43% and 46%. All browsers but Internet Explorer advanced in market share in Europe, but in the US Firefox actually lost market share, down by one percentage point,
