It will be the company's seventh site in the US

Christchurch-based real-time public transport information provider Connexionz has won a $US2.9 million (NZ$3.6 million) deal to supply a system to the City of Santa Clarita in Los Angeles county. It will be the company’s seventh site in the US.

Other wins Connexionz has achieved this year include a system in Charlottesville, North Carolina, which was installed last month, and a contract to supply in-bus computers for the Reading Borough Council in the UK, awarded in January.

In New Zealand, the firm’s clients include the Christchurch City BusXChange and Auckland’s Airbus.
