TomorrowNow’s Sydney office, which was opened in 2006, is to close, along with the rest of the operation’s worldwide offices, by the end of October, says SAP Australia-New Zealand spokesman Peter Sertori.
There are approximately eight staff at the office, who “will receive packages and outplacement training to help them with their career planning”, says Sertori. After acquiring US-based TomorrowNow in 2005, SAP expanded its focus to make it a global provider of support for PeopleSoft and JD Edwards applications. This included opening an Asia-Pacific head office in Singapore that year and a Sydney office the following year.
Last year, TomorrowNow told Australian news website ZDnet.com.au that it had signed up 11 Australian customers.
In New Zealand, it had at least two customers, Sky City and Transfield Services (NZ) Ltd.
