French giant Thales adopts Phitek sound system

Phitek makes further aviation inroads

Auckland-based Phitek Systems has scored a deal with Thales Avionics, which will adopt the Kiwi company's Virtual Surround Sound technology for its Top Series passenger entertainment system.

Mark Donaldson, CEO of Phitek Systems, says the deal represents a significant milestone, strengthening Phitek’s position in the industry.

Phitek V3D provides accurate and natural sounding audio for all audio content across all formats as well as an immersive sound.

Phitek's SmartJack noise cancellation connector has been installed on more than 200,000 airline seats globally. Also announced today, Finnair has selected Phitek's 2108 active noise rejection headphones.
