Kordia picks up Huawei Thai deals

Kiwi company picks up 2G, 3G and WiMax work

Huawei Thailand has awarded Kordia two new contracts for wireless network engineering services over the next 15 months.

The first involves technical installation and commissioning of base station sites, covering 2G, 3G and WiMax technologies throughout Thailand.

The second involves radio network performance and optimisation of a large number of sites, many of which will be 3G, for telecommunications operators in Thailand.

Kordia has worked on many Huawei projects over the last 12 months.

Kordia says it now has a growing pool of engineers trained in Huawei’s WiMax and 3G/WCDMA technologies with additional training scheduled for November.
