Christchurch-based real-time public transport information provider Connexionz has appointed Roger Carruthers as chief executive. Carruthers, who was previously with Merck Sharp & Dohme, replaces Richard Riley, who will remain as a director of Connexionz. The company's clients include the Reading Borough Council in the UK, the City of Santa Clarita in California, and customers in Australia, the Netherlands and Brazil, as well as local users Christchurch City Bus XChange and Auckland Airbus. Connexionz was founded by former Tait Electronics employees.
