CA has announced a replacement for former Australia-New Zealand head Tony Armfield, who left in October.
He is Brenton Smith, who has returned to CA as Pacific vice president and area manager after a brief stint at energy trading and risk management software specialist Allegro.
Smith joined Allegro in August, leaving the post of CA’s Asia South managing director.
He has also held the position of CA Australia sales vice president, and has held roles with Business Objects, Siebel and SAP.
Armfield, who began his career with CA in New Zealand, is now with business software maker QAD.
