ITCRA, the Information Technology Contract & Recruitment Association, has appointed Danika Bakalich as its new CEO for Australia and New Zealand.
Based in Australia, Bakalich has held senior roles in the ICT industry, Commonwealth government advisory arrangements, industry association management and recruitment.
Richard Manthel, the New Zealand president of ITCRA, describes the appointment as a "coup".
“With the strong experience she has gained in both the recruitment industry and government, she will champion our ethical standards and is well placed to ensure that the government devotes sufficient funding to IT skills development on both sides of the Tasman.”
ITCRA was established in New Zealand in 2001 to raise the professionalism of the IT recruitment industry through professional and ethical best practice. The body was established in Australia in 1998.
