Graeme Osborne appointed director at Ministry of Health

Osborne confirmed as Information Group director for the National Health Board business unit

Graeme Osborne has been appointed as director, Information Group in the Ministry of Health’s National Health Board business unit.

He had been acting in this role since the merger of the Information Strategy and Information Delivery Operations roles in October last year.

In 2009, Osborne was appointed to the dual role of chair and director of a new sector leadership group, the National Health IT Board.

In April 2010 he resigned the chairmanship, remaining as the director reporting to the board, in order to concentrate on IT changes across the health and disability sector, including the Ministry of Health.

Prior to joining the National Health IT Board, Osborne was CIO at Accident Compensation Corporation.
