New Zealander David Thodey, Telstra's enterprise and government director, has been appointed CEO of Telstra to replace Sol Trujillo, according to a report in The Australian newspaper.
The Australian reports Thodey was selected at a board meeting in Melbourne yesterday. Sol Trujillo departs on June 30.
Thodey joined Telstra in 2001. Before that he was CEO of IBM Australia and New Zealand. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and English from Victoria University.
