Seerden takes new Revera role

New COO moves towards overall management as part of succession plan

Revera has appointed Andrew Seerden to the new role in the company of chief operating officer.

He will move into overall management of the company’s operations, while co-founder and chief executive officer Roger Cockayne will provide planning and governance oversight.

Seerden joins Revera after a period of management consulting. Previously, he was general manager of the Hewlett-Packard Imaging and Printing Group and held senior roles at Compaq. Longer term, Seerden will take the role of CEO with Cockayne as executive director.

Cockayne says the introduction of a COO is part of a succession plan to enable him to taper off operational management responsibilities and focus on strategic initiatives.

“Fellow co-founder Wayne Norrie and I have grown the business and the senior leadership team to the point that we have the luxury of relinquishing day-to-day management control,” he says. “Andrew’s appointment is a key milestone and provided the final impetus for the positional changes.”
