User conference features seven 'Aces'

The New Zealand Oracle Users Group annual conference, to be held in Rotorua next week, will feature seven international and local Oracle "Aces", says user group president Francisco Munoz Alvarez.

Delegates from a host of high profile local companies, including mobile challenger 2degrees, NZBus, Placemakers and a number of universities and government agencies, will be attending the event, he says. Local users presenting include Solid Energy, Terralink, Healthalliance and Trustpower.

The Oracle Aces, or community experts, booked for the two day conference, in addition to Munoz Alvarez are: Daniel Morgan, US-based Oracle ACE director; Hans Forbrich, Oracle ACE director from Canada; Robert Freeman, Oracle ACE and author; Chris Muir, Oracle ACE director from Australia; Tim Hall, UK-based Oracle ACE director; and Mauricio Naranjo, Oracle ACE director and SOA expert, from Colombia.
