TUANZ chairman steps down

CIO Pat O'Connell to be new chairman

Chris O'Connell is stepping down as chairman of the Telecommunications Users Association, but will remain a member of the TUANZ Board.

The incoming chairman will be Pat O’Connell (no relation), who will take over from the organisation's annual general meeting on 20 April.

Pat O'Connell is chief information officer of the Auckland-based Rank Group, a private company with manufacturing interests worldwide.

His career has also seen him a mainframe systems programmer, a principal consultant with Ernst & Young and CIO for Carter Holt Harvey.
