Software company Wynyard Group is working towards listing on the NZX within the next two months.
In a statement, the company said it is considering raising capital via an initial public offer and NZX main board listing to accelerate its international growth strategy.
Wynyard, a spin off from Christchurch software firm Jade, develops crime and threat detection software for companies and governments.
The offer would be make only to New Zealand retail and institutional investors, with no public pool offered, the company said.
''The proposed offer would take place within the next two months and would be conditional on NZX Limited accepting Wynyard Group's shares for listing.''
Earlier this year Wynyard enlisted David Johnston, the former head of homicide and serious crime command for the London Metropolitan police, for its company advisory board. It has also previously announced that Louis Grever, former FBI executive assistant director of science and technology, has joined the advisory board after 24 years with the FBI.
