FRAMINGHAM (10/03/2003) - CRM software vendor Siebel Systems Inc. said it expects to report a loss of about US$60 million for the third quarter on revenue of about $320 million. The San Mateo, Calif.-based company said it would be profitable if not for one-time expenses, including a $107 million charge taken to cover recent layoffs. It added that software sales will total about $110 million, down 13 percent from $126.8 million a year ago.
