Kaseya plans 30 staff at Auckland centre

IT systems management vendor Kaseya plans to increase headcount at its Auckland support centre, which officially opened last month, to around 30 by the end of the year. Currently, there are approximately 12 staff.

The centre, at Auckland’s viaduct harbour, is one of two that provide level one support to Kaseya customers. The other is in Dublin, Ireland.

Kaseya Asia-Pacific executive vice president Martin Ashby says Auckland was chosen as the other support centre besides Dublin, because of the time-zone synergies between the two cities.

“We do two shifts per day and are able to run close to 16 hours per day,” Ashby says.
